Dean and Shaun Harrington, known as the Hazza Twins, were born in Manly NSW, and moved to the Gold Coast at a young age, where their passion for the ocean flourished through surfing and fishing. From early on, their vibrant personalities and penchant for mischief made them local legends around the Coolangatta/Tweed area, attracting attention from multiple brands eager to collaborate.

During their junior surfing years, they travelled the world competing and building a global network of friends. As sponsorship opportunities shifted, they transitioned into plastering by trade but maintained their adventurous spirit.
