I grew up on WA’s wild coast and spent years travelling the globe as a professional free‑surfer – and, I had a hell time doing it. These days you’ll find me back home captaining our commercial cockle‑fishing licence up in Shark Bay, or packing the Landcruiser and head camping, fishing or on a surfing missions.

  • Won my first Quiksilver Air Show at 16 – pocketed six grand (big coin for a grom).
  • Took out the Quiksilver Air Show World Final in the Caribbean.
  • Featured in every Quiksilver Young Guns flick.
  • Dropped my own profile film “There’s No I in Go Ry” (cheers for the name, Shaun Hazza 😂).
  • Put together a TV series “Ry Craike’s Fish Out of Water”.
  • Racked up a stack of other air‑show wins and free‑surf moments around the planet.

THE MAD HUEYS Q&A

1. Most Memorable Surf:
Scored some sick pits & big slab lefts at home with Dean Hazza and Brenno.

2. Most Memorable Fish Caught:
A session on the Great Barrier Reef where we slayed some big GTs with Shaun and Captain Blackbeard.

3. Most Memorable Party:
Hazza’s 21st on the Goldy. Known the boys over twenty years and that night was next‑level. Look forward to many more.
