About Jimmi
Jimmi is originally from Anna Bay in the Port Stephens area but made the move to the Gold Coast in late 2023 to pursue his surfing dreams. With a deep connection to the ocean, Jimmi is not only building a strong profile in the surf scene, but is also an accomplished diver who enjoys fishing and spearfishing.
Quiet, humble, and unassuming on land, Jimmi transforms in the water. His power, size, and fearless approach have earned him nicknames like “beast” and “man-child.” Calm and composed in competition, he bounces back from setbacks with resilience, making him both a likeable crew member and a mentor to younger groms who look up to him.
Outside of surfing, Jimmi trains hard, loves hanging with his mates, and is always up for a challenge. He also plays Rugby League for the Bilambil Jets, proving he’s all about pushing limits—on land and in the water. Whether he’s in the line-up, on the footy field, or mentoring others, Jimmi brings full-time froth and dedication.

- Bali mission to chase swell
- Recently got boat & jetski licence – planning spearfishing and fishing trips, step-offs and ski driving to gain more experience on the ski.
THE MAD HUEYS Q & A
1. Most Memorable Surf:
Ours/Cape Solander Swell April 25 – It was next level. Got a couple of crazy stand talls tubes and a few floggings, but it’s up there as one of the best surfs I’ve had. Learnt a lot that day..
The Cyclone Alfred swell also pumped—Kirra and Blinga were all-time, I logged heaps of time on the ski & in the water.
2. Most Memorable Fish Caught:
Wahoo Out of Tweed - it was a day of days – we had double hook-ups and caught fish taller than me. Those things can pull drag. It was a Mad day out with Dad getting amongst it also.
3. Most Memorable Party:
2024 Sydney Halloween party with some Sydney lads… enough said!
